Intakes, Exhaust, Headers for S/V 40?
1. You need to SEACRH. Check the Updated Links thread in General Volvo.
2. As far as an exhaust goes have it custom made. Is the v40 even turbocharged to begin with? Or is yours for that matter?
3. Our cars don't have HEADER's. We have an Intake Manifold and an Exhaust Manifold. Pipearts I believe it is called does custom work for Volvo's but I don't think the v40 series and they are damned exspensive. I would have someone custom make you one around you area.

Sorry it should have Read all S/V 40's in the U.S. are Turboed.
Only cars outside the U.S. were N/A.
The S40 came out here in the U.S. in 2000 the earlier Versions of the S/V40 were out of the U.S.

This is my suggestion to you.
1. 3" downpipe mandrel bent to a 2.5" free flowing Catback system with a Magnaflow muffler. All mandrel bent of course.
2. If you really want an intake, look into EST (http://www.eurosporttuning.com) see if they have one for your car, I think they do. The best option is a stock panel filter in the stock airbox best setup, or you can go for a K&N panel filter. Or create your own CAI (Cold Air Intake).
3. As far as a "header" is concerned, Volvo's don't have them. Like I said before we have Intake and Exhaust manifolds. You could port these and gasket match them. This would cost big bucks, and the gains you would get well I don't know what you would gain from it. But it is an idea. Or you could have custom Intake and Exhaust manifolds created.
I believe that your exhaust manifold and turbo are mated together in one part.
