Default Interior Lights

Hello everyone. I recently had my 2000 Volvo S40 Gen 1 broken in to for the aftermarket radio/deck system.

Afterwards, I've noticed that the interior lights, such as my map light(light above mirror), my glove compartment and my boot/trunk lights are no longer working.

I've checked both interior and exterior fuse boxes and all the required fuses are all fine.

Can it be that due to the speaker wires and other wires touching when the system was pulled out, one of the wires broke/burned?

If so, or if it's any other issue, how do I trace it?

Thank you in advanced.

did you check to see if you have power going into / out of the fuse? Its possible that some wiring in the dash was damaged but you'd need a wiring diagram to see the color codes for the vanity lights and their junction points.

Hi. No I did not. I only checked fuses to see if they were burned or not. Very possible that wires were damaged because I opened panel under the steering and a few wires were exposed and not connected to anything.
