Loud Clunk/Bang over holes or drops
Hi,
I have a 2007 Volvo S40 2.4i and I have had a clunking problem in the front passenger side for quite awhile. It mainly happens when accelerating and I drive over a hole, dip in the road, bump, etc. I noticed if I coast over it, it doesn’t happen. I thought it was the struts, so I replaced both of the entire strut assemblies. It was still there. I replaced both sway bar end links. Still there. Both the tie rod end and ball joint are tight and in good condition. I was suspecting possibly the passenger engine mount, because if it was suspension, I would think that it would clunk and bang no matter if i was on the gas or not. Please help!!
