You'll need to call a dealer and get the code. Some dealers will require you to have the vehicle there and prove ownership before they give out the code.

You do need to call your local dealer to get the code. Make sure you also have the part number of the radio handy. It is located near the serial number you already have. On your car, it should be an 8-digit number starting with 308.....

When you get the code, pull the radio and write the code on top of it with a marker. Maybe defeats the purpose of the code, but who has ever had a radio stolen in these cars?

I disconnected my battery and am now in the same boat, 'OFF'. Figured out that if I hold 'scan' when I turn the radio on it will bypass it, but resets when I turn the ignition off.

if the battery was removed/ died in order to get it to come back on you need to have the ignition on / position 1 for about 2-3 hours and then it will ask you to input the code
