Hello everyone. I'm having a tremendously difficult time finding an s40 with a manual transmission...it's incredibly annoying. How many of you drive stick? If I wait around for a while, might I find one? At this point it seems hopeless, every s40 i've seen is an auto

any advice???

 

If you're looking for an early S40 in the US (Pre-2004.5), I don't think they came with manual transmission.

The P1 did, but it is certainly much less common than the automatic.

 

Im looking for a relatively newer s40. Congrats on getting ur manual haha. For a european car, they sure do make this a pain...

 

I don't have one, I just work on them.

If you're looking for a P1 (Later than 2004.5) then they do exist, but just are not common (as you are aware)

 

yeah, these don't seem to be common at all. I'm really hoping that more become available as the weather gets warmer??

i've spent hours searching and I haven't found a single manual tranny with leather seats.
