im new to the turbo scene and ive talked to some friends and got their input. the are more for boost controllers rather than ecu upgrade. my friends also no nothing about volvos. Is installing a MBC on a 2005 s40 t5 manual a good investment?? or is getting a ecu upgrade the better idea.

 

You cannot run a manual boost controller on a 2005 S40. Not without pissing the computer off and throwing a long list of codes. Your only option, if you are going to do it right, is an ECU upgrade. I would recommend IPD, Elevate, or EuroSport.
