Better MPG after MBC, anyone else have this happen?
Well I've had a different MBC on before and it did the same thing. Average MPG for my 94 850 Turbo was about 22-24 in town and highway. With the MBC on now I get about 25-29 average. Any thoughts on why that is. I do have stage 0 done. I know it's probably how much fuel is being delivered. Please help me out.
Sorry, I can't help you out with your problem, butmy T5 wagon averages about 30 m.p.g pertankful of mixed city/country driving (usuallyabout 70 m.p.h in the country).
When Ireallydrive for economy (not that often - it's too boring) the fuel consumption improves quitenoticeably.

I am running 14.5 lbs of boost. It's not a problem, I was just wondering why it would increase so much. I also can't stand to drive for economy. It sucks so bad/good knowing that all I have to do is just press the gas pedal down and feel that sweet spool. Next thing you know I'm doing 20 over the speed limit. I've only had my car to 135 MPH. I don't have the radar detector or the ***** to push it a little further.
Radar/Laser detectors are not fool proof so watch it. I got nailed on the Ohio Turnpike going a buck and was very thankful that I got away with my license and no ticket.
