Default Missing hose from brake fluid reservoir?

So I had my brake hoses replaced last summer, but I noticed this a.m. what appears to be an overflow release from my brake fluid reservoir seems to be missing a hose (see photo). Can anyone confirm this?

Thanks!

That is for the manual trans cars. The line that runs to the clutch slave cylinder connects there.

Interesting that the brakes and clutch for manuals share the same reservoir.
Is that rare of more common nowdays?

Can't speak for other manufacturers, but common for Volvo since I can remember.

Ive had nothing to do with any manual transmissioned Volvo's. Only Automatic.
Great idea though for simplifying maintenance.
