Default Are my struts toast?

Preface:
Well, I fixed one problem and probably created another problem. As previously mentioned in another thread, I took my Volvo in and found out that I need to fix one of my strut mounts and CV joint. I bought the strut mount and half shaft. I was able to do the strut mount replacement myself and I'm going to have someone else put the half shaft on. Anyway, I had my car suspended a couple days before the parts came in. During that time, it's been pretty cold, even though my car was kept in the garage. After I put everything on and lowered my car, it seemed fine.
Problem:
A few days later, I decided to drive it and I noticed my car bouncing a lot. Something definitely wasn't right. After I got out, my car was basically dropped in the front. As I jacked it up, I noticed a lot of popping. Is that in any way related my CV joint that I haven't replaced yet? Or is it possible both stuts went bad at the same time and now basically going to replace them with these:

I don't think it would be related to the CV joint. Could possibly be the strut. Also check the spring and the sway bar end links.

Wow, thanks for the quick reply! When I took off the strut mount, the spring was definitely fine. Didn't think of the sway bar. Would that make the popping noise like air was getting pushed back in as I lifted the car? What exactly would I be looking for on the sway bar since that's a new one for me. Thanks again.
