no AC
A C was cycling on off it appeared to be low on freon , added die & freon now nothings working and have 4 codes 0004 , 0020 , 0040 & 0063 . The four codes I have are
0004 / passenger compartment temperature sensor signal too high/signal missing
0020 / function button activated too long
0040 / air quality sensor internal fault
0063 / damper motor , temperature right internal fault
The codes were retrieved of a snap on verus I don't know if they match a Volvo code reader ?

most of those codes point to a missing signal or a short in the cabling to the ECC module. the CCM-0063 is the one code that got my attention - as its the one that says the signal used to request AC is low... The other thing I'm wondering about is you said that the AC was cycling prior to adding freon. Did you check the system pressure after the add? Does the AC kick on at all (even if briefly)? Is it possible you bumped a connector when charging the AC?
Code:CCM-0063
Definition: Request AC, ECC, MCC. Signal Too Low
Description: Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) CCM-0063 is stored if the climate control module registers that the signal in the cable used by the engine control module (ECM) to request AC is low when the AC is activated.
Cause: Short-circuit to ground in the signal cable.

Is there a paper manual that is worth buying to solve this problem ? I need to know where thees parts are at and the value's for testing . I have all ways solved the lowest code # first This has all way's worked in the past .
