Default No compression cyl n 1

I have no compression on cyl n 1 Car has 170.000 miles and is 18 yrs old. It’s in remarkable conditions, no rust no dent interior is great Could i solve the problem rebuilding that engine rather than replacing it with a used one ?The mechanic told me most likely I burned exhaust valves on cyl 1 With the scope he looked inside the cylinders by plugs hole and saw a clean , dearly clean engine ( top ) I really don’t want to trash it , and worse I don’t want to buy a car with a cvt transmission. ( useless )

I'd look at the compression on all other cylinders as well. You could rebuild it or just throw a new head on it. It's up to you; new cars are pretty much junk.

If your shop confirmed its a burnt valve then you can either have a machine shop do a valve job to replace the valve or install a replacement head. To get a sense of availability of used heads, you can search via car-part.com. if you are planning to have a shop do the work to R+R the head, I'd expect the job to run in the 2500 range since the engine doesn't need to come out.. So if the car is in good shape otherwise, its probably worth having the repair done. If however the problems is rings/pistons, then the cost goes up...
