Persistent Airbag error in a 2005 s40 2.0D
Hi everyone.
I have a 2005's (making year) S40 2.0D and I have a persistent airbag fault warning.
For 3 times a volvo garage cleared the code. But when I pass trough a pothole FAST, the light comes to life again.
One volvo mechanic told me that the problem will be fixed soldering the wires from a connector under the copilot seat. But my nearest volvo dealers refused to do so. (the one that told me this is 550km away)
I have tryed to clear it using one cheap china's OBD EML327 scan, but it isn't able to clear any code in my S40, it only reads some data.
Any help? does anybody know about a OBD interface compatible with a 2005's S40?
I've found some scanners that are not supposed to work in a 2005's. only with older ones
