GOT A PO128 ENGINE CODE GAUGE READING GOOD LEVEL GOOD.MAYBE SENIOR ? 2001 S40.

 

and does any body know were the temp senior is.

 

Common thing to go out. Coolant temp sensor is located right next to the thermostat, almost underneath it. It's easy to change and I'd recommend changing the thermostat at the same time. Another post I've done has a pic to help you out. Get your parts from ipdusa.com best price and they are a sponsor on the forum. To change both parts it took me about 30 minutes.

The thermostat is in the Upper hose at the motor.

Yes it is in the lower thermostat housing.

 

yeah, check my other post titled "coolant sensor" i think it's on page 3...and it will go through everything. I had the same problem a few weeks ago and TECH came to my rescue.
