hey all. i am going to attempt doing this in my 2004.5 S40. i have read everything i can, and watched all the videos i can, but i still really just have one question/request. i can't seem to find any pictures of how the adapters get made when hacking up the 9V battery posts & soldering them to the hacked up antenna cable. the write up is awesome and i thank Gregg Rocheford for all the time and effort he put into it so us poor souls that came later could enjoy our music on the go, lol.

but i'm just confused....do i take both wires (after the 9V battery buttons are cut up) and solder both of them to the center cable from the cut up antenna wire? what happens to (or what do you do) with the wire mesh that is just under the black insulation of the cut up antenna wire? in the write up it just says don't damage it and then twist it up and out of the way. if it's not used, then couldn't i just cut the excess off? can anyone that has done this please help me?
