I was wondering, how long do you guy keep the engine idling, before you shut it down, after an average drive, so the turbo cools down. I usually wait 30 to 45 seconds, after i put in park. Should i wait longer? There isnt an actual answer for that. Can you guys share, your habits.

Turbo -- 45 to 60 seconds
N/A -- Immediately

 

I just shut it down with no waiting. I do use full synthetic oil to minimize any coking. With about 175k miles the turbo is still working just fine.
