I noticed something else as well. My idle fluctuates when I'm slowing down. It will go down to ~800 RPMs but then as I'm slowing down it jumps back up to 900-1000 before settling right at ~650 RPMs. I'm hoping this is all caused by the thermostat, ECT sensor, and crankshaft sensor. What are the odds of that?
Also one last quick question: when an s40 shifts how far should the RPMs go down? Does it vary at all?
