Default Removing carpet to dry--please help! (2005)

Hi--
My 2005 S40 had a leak that I think has been repaired. There was sloshing water under my driver's side seat, and the carpet was soaked. It has been over 6 weeks, and the foam under the carpet is still wet. I can't believe it hasn't mildewed yet, but I would like to take the carpet out and dry it this week. Can anyone tell me how to start this process? (BTW--I've put a heater in the car, left doors/windows open for days on end, shoved towels under the floor, and its still wet!)

Thanks.

This might be a job for the SHAMWOW! Jk, I would use a product specifically to remove moisture. Product that I have used in the past is called Crystal Sponge that could be sprinkled onto the carpet and underneath, then vacuumed off. Probably had your sunroof drains repaired that caused the cabin water leak.

Believe it or not, I did try the Shamwow. It soaked up a bunch, believe it or not.

Thanks for the tip about the Crystal stuff...I'll look for it!
