2008 S40 2.4i headlight keeps going out on passenger side. I replaced bulb and noticed that the socket in which I plug the bulb into has some burning and cracking of plastic casing. put bulb in anyway and it goes fine for about a week then goes out. pull the bulb out and the cracking and burning of casing was even worse. (yes I put the correct bulb in.) So now my light wont come on at all. I purchased a new harness for it and have absolutely no idea how to replace it. I've looked everywhere and can not find any answers. Any ideas?

 

We just splice in a new connector (#31299732) for the H7 bulb connector which is only $20.88
