Someone drove by and knocked the glass and black back casing off my driver side mirror. The body is still attatched to the car as is the motor wiring and even the blinker light still works. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement mirror and casing for a 2006 2.4 S40??

 

Outside of the dealer or a salvage yard, I have no new ideas. But, this is your Golden Opportunity to up-grade mirrors. Like your car, my '06 has awfully tiny door mirrors. I've read somewhere that the '07 s40 received larger side-view mirrors. Do you think it's a plug-and-play swap-out???

Any other opinions as to the feasibility of this swap?

 

Thanks, Ill look into that-I've been to my local repair place where the guy gave me a really great deal taking a huge dent out of the back panel where I'd been hit and he gave me an amount of $750 to fix/replace the single driver side mirror, Im assuming it'll be just as much or more at the dealership but Im guessin I might just have to suck it up and fork over the cash.
