replacing fuel pump / pressure regulator on 2000 S40
went to a local dealer as have been having trouble starting the car after it has not run. turns over for 5-7 seconds before finally starting. sometimes will stall immediately after. usually doesn't take more than 2 - 3 tries to start. afterwards runs fine for the most part. starts right up if has just been run.
dealer pressure tested the lines and said that they are losing pressure once the vehicle turns off. said that ideally would want to change fuel pump and pressure regulator.
is this something that i can do myself after buying the parts? or is this a job recommended for the dealer? given the right set of instructions, i don't have any problems working on the car.
oh, and recently had plugs / coils replaced....OEM parts.
any other thoughts?
