Right signal stays on when turn stalk at rest
Hello all,
2007 S40 2.4i. When my turn stalk is at rest (center position) my right turn signal continuously flashes. The only way to get the signal to turn off is to push the turn signal up and leave it there, as if I were making a right turn. The signal will flash a couple of times and then go off. The biggest problem is every time I make a turn the turn stalk returns to center and the signal goes back on. The left signal position works fine. Before I go tearing the column apart looking for ghosts, has anyone had a similar issue? I've heard getting in there is as simple as removing a few screws from the bottom of the column cover.
Thanks!
