I have been looking for a converter or adapter to change my stock radio to a touch screen radio with GPS and capable to play Sirius radio . so far no luck. can anyone help me out here
2001 S40 1.9T base unit

 

Start by looking at options at Crutchfield.com and look at Grom for adaptors to the Volvo connector (their own web site or eBay/Amazon). The S40 takes a standard "double-DIN" radio which is great for having a bigger touch screen. Pulling out the factory unit is really easy - press the two vertical bars on the edges of the faceplate and they will pop out and allow the radio to side out. You will see the antenna lead and one or two white connectors. Grom makes an adaptor that lets you take an after market radio and plug it right into the factory connector.
