S40 2004 2.5l t5
Hi guys,
I am replacing both of my control arm this week on my car, the problem is that I do not know what size the Rod is. I found two sizes, one is 15mm and the other is 18mm.
How do I know which one I need? Can I get it with my VIN number or something like that?

I'm not certain regarding the T5 (I've got the std 2.4L non-turbo), but I think your choices for the front lower control arms are with either 18 or 21 mm ball joints (and since you say it's an '04, I would bet the smaller (older) one, like mine, and which I did last week).
I'd say check out a site like swedishautoparts.com, which often tells you which way to go based on the VIN, last 6 numbers. Good luck!
