s40 2005 model side light replacement ?????
hi all
just bought a 2005 s40 2005 2.0l diesel and need to replace the small side light bulb.
had a look under the bonnet and realised that there is all sorts of stuff behind the head light cluster is there an easier way to change the bulb without removing all this equipment ???

Yes, there is a very easy way to replace the bulb. You just remove the headlight.
It's actually designed with the intention of removing it to replace bulbs.
See the little metal tab that's circled. All you have to do is pull up on it to remove the locking pin and the headlight slides right out.
You may have to disconnect the wires connected to the headlight but it's a just a clip that comes off easy enough.
