Hi everyone.

New to the forum and making my first post. I've searched and read quite a bit about various solutions to the issue of pre 07 models not having aux input.

I've found this wiring harness which would seem to solve the issue very simply. Can it be this easy? No need to do any of the soldering of the amp... What do you think? Anyone bought one of these?

I'm also searching for a same kind of solution for my 99 S40 did anyone try this? I can do the soldering and testing. However little scared about the audio unit, it is too old, so few electrical sorts would burn it down.

 

on the Gen1 S40s, they shared similar radio designs as the 850s/S70s - you should be able to find an adaptor that plugs into the CD changer port. Old doesn't mean electrical sorts will burn out...
