Hi Guys
Dads old s40 2L Petrol, Non Turbo, Manual trans (Stick) - has a newish motor +- 10000 km now.
New Plugs
When you take off is stutters for a split second and then through-out the rev range it seems to continue stuttering every now and then.
However on the Freeway / Highway at 120KM/h -- NOT -- under any harsh loads it seems a bit smoother.
Any advice would be appreciated
Regards
Kevin

Just all the normal suspects - plugs, coils, injectors, PCV valves, vacuum leaks. Really bad motor / transmission mounts can make it feel like an engine miss, too.
Check for stored OBD codes - that might tell you something to help you narrow down the search area to less than a continent... ;-)

Hey check your sensors if you can I suspect MAF is the case here if the car is stuttering or hesitant on acceleration also uneven idle can be MAF if you don't have diagnostic you should check the MAF maf can be checked for resistance and voltage using ohm meter voltmeter also worth checking your cam and crank sensors however live data diagnostic would pinpoint your problem v quickly
