Default Time to UPGRADE my S40

Hey Everyone

I have a 1998 S40 Sedan ( South African ) think they only came out in 2000 in the USA.

it's a 2.0 automatic non turbo, which i've just had a wicked spray job done toit as well as a nice set of 17" Lenso's.

I have a buddy which is selling his 850 T5 and i'm interested in using his motor in my car for some more power.

Does anyone now what the conversion process would be and if it will fit into the s40.

Also am i able to change the tranny from auto to Manual?

I'm looking to do a nice customization on the s40 including some nice front and rear bumpers as well as a set of crystal headlights that I came across on the net, the one similiar to the audi's.

Any thoughts?

To the engine, that would be hell.

I have an 01 s40 and to my knowledge they never made an manual for s40's until 04 or 03 i think. Well for left hand side drive that is.

And better be ready to shell out some big bucks for the conversion.

Do you know if you get a "Turbo Kit" for the s40 to change it from NA to turbo as I see that they have accomdated on the head etc for it.
