S40 CD Changer
I have a 2004 1G S40 with HU-555 stereo, pre-wired for ch changer in trunk. I have found a model 8682780-1 10 disc cd changer from an S80 (unknown year). does anyone know if this will work with my car. As far as connectors and general appearance - it looks like it should. thanks

It just might work. According to VolvoWholesaleParts.com sells Genuine Volvo Parts, the CD changer for the 2000-2004 S40 is Part number 9488925 which is superseded by part number 30775453.
The 8682780 also is superseded by part number 30775453.
