Default S40 - Changing the Timing Belt

Has anyone changed their own timing belt? I have a 2001 S40 and do
most of my own work. Someone told me there is some kind of oil switch attached to the cam and
if not set right will cause the engine light to come on. Is this true?

Should I try this or go to the dealer? Anyone know what they charge for that?

Thanks,
Ed

Best advise I can give you is to make sure you have a CAM LOCK tool to hold the cams.Make sure the marks are lined up perfectly and you will be fine.
