I just installed my 6000K HID Xenon lights on my 06 S40, They are awesome and they make my car look so exotic.. But today I was driving in the day and I saw that they were on.. I position the *** to "0" and they remain ON. (DRL) Is there anyway without disabling or cutting wires to Disable the DRL without costing $$$
Oh... and If I decided not to disable the DRL will the life of the XENON Light Decrease quicker? Please Help you guys are the best and I've gotten really good help--Alex

 

You can go to volvo and get the programming that will change the settings around to the way you want it, i dont think the programming is too expensive either....

 

Put your headlight switch in the middle position. Turn the ignition switch to position II. Pull the turn signal lever toward you and hold it while turning yourheadlight switch to the off position. Release. This should disable the DLR. If you ever want to change it back, do the process all over again. Hope this helps, Shane
