S40 was overheated, replaced Engine, now transmission doesn't work

S40 was overheated, replaced Engine, now transmission doesn't work
Replaced the transmission, same problem with the transmission
This is for an 2001 S40
The car starts fine, move the Shifter to Drive, Reverse, 2 or L, and nothing.
The really weird part is when the new (used transmission) was installed, the wheels turned for about 1 minute, and now do not.
Any ideas? Not sure about the odds of two transmissions magically having the same issue?
