This is my first thread so please excuse me if I post this wrongly. I have a 1999 s40 1.6 and recently the engines stalls when on idle after it has warmed up. After reading other posts I have cleaned the Idle Control Valve and changed the thermostate and coolant sensor with no change. I also waited until the engine had warmed up and the idle dropped to around 200revs and then removed the connector to the ICV and the revs went up to above 600. Does this indicate a faulty ICV?
