I have a 2003 Volvo S40 1.9T. I've done a little work to it through a motorsports company near me that does custom performance tuning. I have upgraded my intake to a custom cold air and have changed out the stock tube from the intercooler to the intake manifold with a custom solid pipe to take advantage of every last pound of boost. I would love to find out any one who actually makes parts for my car so that I can continue my tuning. I have seen the list compiled by user S70 but after looking through it I really couldn't find anything for my car. Is there a site that anyone knows of that I'm missing? Cause at this point I'm a bit disapointed I didn't just get a 2004.....

there really isnt much offered out there besides basic suspension, intake and turbo/exhaust upgrade...most s40 users will have custom fabbed exhausts added, and you can upgrade your 12t turbo to a 14t turbo...between an exhaust upgrade, turbo upgrade, and ecu upgrade thats all you're going to get.

 

If you did the exhaust, turbo, and ECU upgrade like mcguij1 said, along with your custom intake, you could probably get 250HP/TQ out of the car. Maybe even get close to 280, which is a pretty quick S40.

If you want, you could spend some$$$ on RSI rods and pistons forsaferhigh HP
