slow accelleration s40

i have a 01 s40 w/ slow acceleration but after a second or so it takes off. the engine isnt skipping but i pulled codes p0172 and p040. any help would be greatly appreciated.

i think i have same issue. dont remmber the code but it was o2 sensor.
