Where can I get the bulb for the transmission gearshift console on my 2002 Volvo s40. I am just looking for a good price, plus low shipping costs.

The place that I searched charged a good price for the bulb, but a terribly high price to ship it to me.

Also, is it possible to put a new sun visor in my 2002 Volvo s40. Do not forget that it needs to make an electrical connection that is under the interior compartments canopy. So to install the sun visor requires one to make the connection under the canopy. Can this be done without damaging the canopy?

Yes, you can replace the visor. The wiring pulls out and then pushes back in once connected.

 

Yes, but what about the headliner. The electrical connection is under the headliner.

Can this connection be made without damaging the headliner?

Yes. As I said, the wiring pulls out and then is pushed back in. It is very simple.

 

The headliner is moderately flexible. You can remove the panic handle and other trim that interferes and bend the part down g e n t l y .
