Hi all. I am hoping to soon be the proud owner of a Volvo S40! I could use some reassurance though; are people happy with their Volvo's? My family had Volvo's as I was growing up, but we've not had any for years. Any comments/feedback would be much appreciated.

 

I have 1st gen S40 (2002). Other than temp contol module car is trouble free and very fun to drive (mine is modified some). Good luck and welcome to the Forum. BJ

 

I am new here but I have a 2004.5 S40 T5 and I love it. Only have two dislikes. One-no boost gauge (many others agree) two-my wife cannot drive manual very well so went with automatic with auto-stick and the auto-stick is not as responsive as I would like when up-shifting.
