Default Soon to be a 2006 S40 T5 Owner!

Hi everyone,

I am new to this forum and just wanted to say hi. I have a 2006 S40 T5 on order....I am guessing it should arrive here (Canada) by early March.

Since this is my first Volvo experience, did I make a good choice? I drove the car a number of times and fell in love with it on the first test drive.

Any insights would be greatly appreciated!

Your going to love the turbo.

Do you plan to upgrade it, and put performance parts into it?

Picked my 2006 S40 T5 up last night! Worth the wait your in for a treat haha!

Couldnt be happier with the purchase

Also after drove it off realized they overlooked this grill, not sure if its factory or what but its very nice. Perhaps ill search for it to identify it. its got horizontal lines (spelling)

Actually it has chrome horizontal lines - no Volvo logo whatsoever. Sure looks good with the Rusnak plates haha (Picked it up @ Rusnak Pasadena, CA)

Ill post Pics - I tried to google it with no luck. I got it free, but list price on sticer said $795 lol

A front grille cost $795? Did that come with a carbon fiber hood? $795 for just a grille is crazy, and I don't think just a grille cost that much.

Dont get me wrong, I didnt pay for the 795 Grille" or the 395 tint - I found the slip after the fact. Got a great deal on it - well under msrp including the tint / grille. Was just wondering where they got it, plus im sure they tack on labor for install. Ill post pics later tonight once i get back.
