Default Spoiler

Hi,
Ive just bought my first car, a 55 reg S40. I havent picked it up from the garage yet, but Im toying with the idea of getting them to fit a rear spoiler (just a small genuine volvo one, nothing garish) before I pick it up. On the face of it, it seems a bit like the kind of poserish thing I would never normally do, but I really think the car looks better with one. Also Im only 22 so I thought it might look a bit less like ive borrowed my Dad's car if i had one!

Anyone got any thoughts or relevant experiences? Id be particularly interested if anyone knows of any problems that could come up with having a spoiler fitted post-sales, though Id be getting it done at a Volvo garage so Id hope theyd do a good job, also the warranty wouldnt be affected (as far as i know).

Thanks in advance,
Mark.

I added an OEM spoiler to my car after I purchased it and I have had no problems. I had a local autobody install and they did an awesome job.

As far as I know there should be no problems with adding the spoiler, I would make sure that the new holes are properly sealed so you dont get any leaks in the trunk. I have the sport model, comes with the spoiler. I think it makes the car look so much better.
