Starter won't turn...

Starter won't turn...
Hi all.
I'll start by saying I love this forum, really good and usefull reading!
Sometimes, and funny as it is, never in cold weather, the starter just won't turn over.
It's an S40, 1.8, from 2000.
I put in the key, and turn it. All the lights in the dash go on like they are supposed to, and i hear a sound from the rear of the car as always (Fuel pump?)...
Then... Nothing! No sound from the starter, no "click" or anything at all...
Leave the car for 5-10 minutes, and get back in... It starts like normally!
Does anyone have an idea of what's wrong???
