I have a used 2k S40 purchased 6 months ago.

It was sluggish up hills, I found very cracked coils, (thanks to this site) replaced them, car is much better but still hesitates at 2,600 and above RPMs usualy in 2nd or 3rd gear. Any Ideas.

Yes well 5 months ago i installednew NGKs, re gapped them down to .030 last week, installed the new coils. thanks for your response Tech.

 

should i just try fresh plugs, maybe a copper plug instead of platinum?

YES! It worked, so i took out the spark plugs, which were, ngk basic platinum. and put in OEMs. the first couple of drives to work i didnt realy notice any difference, but now she drives like a champ. thanks to all the forums i have read. heres a shout out to, tech & mcguij1. thanks Jay.
