Whats up Volvo world!

I drive a 2003 S40 and I'm gonna be putting some new shoes on her. I'm really interested in stretching some tires over the rims I'm looking at, but I don't know what size of tire would be right to stretch over the wheels. I'm looking at either a 18, 18.5, or 19 in wheel, (I don't know which width would be the best for the rim also because am not too familiar with the stretched society).

Any advice would help.

P.S. also trying to put a standard 5 speed tranny in the baby, if anyone knows a euro website that I can find one off a used 40.
