Default 2 New Tires versus 4 New Tires

hi all

I have a 2007 s40 2.4 FWD auto.

about 3 years ago, i swapped all 4 tires to a new set of contiextremecontacts. about 9 - 11 months in, 1 tire had a side wall puncture. I had to replace it with a continential conti extreme DWS (the previous was replaced by the DWS). at 1.5 years, i had another dws replacement due to another sidewall puncture.

currently, i have 2 contiextremecontacts with about 40k and about 15-20k on the dws.

the contiextremecontacts need to be replaced because they are getting worn and really close to the wear bars.

the questions is, should I replace only the 2 worn tires or replace all 4 tires with a new set of DWS?

I live in NJ and has the potential of having snowy winters.

let me know if you need any more details.

thoughts?

thanks.

You can replace just two.
