I've developed an annoying rattle/clunk sound in the right front of my '00 S-40. Most pronounced when brakes are applied lightly while on a bumpy road. Is now the time for the new Bilstiens (Konis?), or could there be another source of above mentioned annoyance?

 

It could be a few things.

Strut mounts, sway bar endlinks, etc...

I would go with KONI's.
