Hi, I got stuck in the snow and the car stalled, when I sterted it again I had a flashing arrow and the engine light came on. The arrow has gone off since but the engine light is on, is there any way to reset it or do I have to make a trip to the dealer for diagnosis? ............thanks.....[/align]

 

Not sure why the engine light is on but the arrow means that your winter weather mode is coming on. that is normal, but you shouldnt be revving the engine past 2500-3000 rpms when you are stuck like that. you will have to have your ecu read in order to figure out whats causing the engine light.

 

that happened to me last year.... spinning the wheels screws with the speed sensor. It should clear itself after a few miles (the arrow) but the code will be held until cleared.

 

the arrow is gone but engine light is still on. will get it cleared, thanks
