Default ticking noise

hello. I just bought an 1999 s40 t4. I replaced oil filter, fuel pump, oil, timing belt, spark plugs and cables, and other things. I am concerned of a ticking noise my engine does. It is not the ticking noise it makes when i start the engine in cold that worries me, i know this sound is normal considering the lifters being charged. But sometimes after the car is already warm, it starts making a ticking noise in the engine, sounds like a lifter but i think it should not be normal cause the engine is already warm. I have read lots of forum to investigate what the problem could be. Since now i have the following options:
1. dirty lifters: at the volvo shop they tell me to performe a engine flush.
2. some problems with the o-rings: i quite do not understand this.
3. problem with oil pressure. BUt the oil signal does not turn on at any time.

I am concerned this ticking noise is caused by problems with the oil pressure. What can i do. I turn to the volvo dealer but they do not seem to take this sound seriosly, they say there is no risk of driving the car like this, but i have had some bad experiences and would not like to have one with my Volvo.

Please help!!

It could be the oil pan o-rings.
There is a seal between the motor and oil pan that seals an oil passage. If the seal goes bad the oil pressure will drop some causing the tapping noise.

THKS!!! for your prompt response!!

What should i try first, the motor flush or replacing the o rings? Why does my engine oil indicator does not turn on if the oil pressure is failing? The ticking sound is not permanent, it begins but dissapears in about 3 minutes.
Volvo dealerships uses Mutol oil, but i hear Mobil 1 is much better. Which should i use? My car has 112,000km (about 60,000 miles).

The pressure is slightly low but not low enough to make the light come on.
You can try the mobil 1 first if you want. But I think in the end you might end up replacing the o-rings.

Handal, could you please let us know how much it would cost you to check it up and get the O-rings replaced, Plus, whether that is going to be performed at the dealership or not?

Thanks a lot,
