Timing belt or chain in '06 S40?

Timing belt or chain in '06 S40?

Does the current model S40 utilize a timing chain or belt?

I saw that the previous gen was a belt but was hoping current model utilized a chain to eliminate that maintenance item.

I beleieve it is still the Belt.

Do you know if it has a typical 60K mile belt replacement schedule and if the engine is interference or not?

Volvo should say 105,000 but have it checked at around 70,000 miles.

Yes interference enigne.
