Default Tires

My father called me last night and had a question about my mother's 2003 s40. He has the opportunity to get 4 relatively new tires for nothing, but the problem is that they are 215/60r15 and not 195's. Will putting these oversize tires on her car pose any problems other than mess with the speedo and odo?

They will offset the speedo.

So, just to make sure as this is my mother's car, the ONLY problem that may arise is the speedo reading incorrect? There won't be any problems with the abs, turbo timing, ignition, radio or ash tray? Reason I ask is that when I did the tire calculator at 1010tires, there was a warning about anything greater than 3% runs the risk of brake failure and this difference is 3.7%

By the way, thanks a million for the reply Tech...

The only other thing that might be affected is the tires might rub when turned all the way.
