Default trasmission fluid

Hi,

I’d appreciate very much if someone knows what kind of transmission fluid I should use for a V40 from 2003 with an automatic transmission. In the owner manual is mentioned JWS-3309, P/N 1161540. Engine: Volvo B4204 T4. This car was distributed in Canada.
Is this oil mineral or synthetic? Where I can find this ATF? The dealer is overpricing me so I decided to do this job by my own. Who is the manufacturer for this transmission?
Your help is highly appreciated.

Regards,

PS

Mobil makes 3309 trans fluid. Check the web to see who sells it.
You may also want to try Mobile 1 synthetic. Make sure Mobil 1 is compatible with 3309.

I can tell the difference between conventional engine oil and synthetic engine oil.
but It's difficult for me to tell the different between conventional and synthetic auto transmission fluid.
Does anyone notice any differences between the two?

mobil1 synthetic is mostly for dextron III
mobil produces atf 3390 as well.
