While replacing the abs module, with the air cleanerhousing removed. I noticed a sensor on top of the transmission, it appears to have a slow leak around it. Any ideas what this is?

Went to the dealer today and took a look at the parts explosion on the computer. It looks like this is the VEHICLE SPEED SENSOR.Is there a history of these going bad?
