trying to take emblems off need help
Hi i have a 2006 volvo s40 2.4i and i'm trying to take both the Volvo and the 2.4i emblem off the back. i was wondering if anyone knew whether they are adhesive or plugged in? any ideas on the best way to remove them?
also if possible i was trying to remove the volvo emblem on the grill, the one that kind of stretches out diagonally, any suggestions on the best way for removal?
thanks

Rear are simply taped on. Take a blow dryer to it and heat it up nicely so that the 3m tape softens up then gently work it loose. I recently added the 2009 rear Volvo emblem on my 2001 s60 T5 and it looks awesome.
If you want to get fancy, IPD sells a plastic type tool that helps in lifting up the edges of emblems and small stuff off the body of the car.

You have the eggcrate correct? Not the vertical chrome bars?
My suggestion would be to take the grill off and bring it inside and look at how it is attached. I would guess it is all one piece of ABS and can not be removed.
Solution: Buy an aftermarket eggcrate without emblem or trade me for the grill with vertical chrome bars! I really want eggcrate!!
